The Alumni Association is an important part of any institute. Alumni Association is dedicated for interface & maintain the sensitivity of fraternity among alumni of the institute. The association also provides opportunities for interaction between past & present alumnae and faculty of the college. The alumni of our institute have found and will keep on finding positions in institutions of National & International repute.
Alumni functions (ABHINANDAN) are an occasion to reunite and assemble the past memories. It is also useful for keeping a association with the alumni to involve them in the progress of the institute. It endorses and encourages exchanging professional knowledge by undertaking and facilitating conference's seminar's lectures and meetings amongst alumni, students, faculty and others.
The Alumni Committee will support in the development and implementation of the all Alumni Associations along with related planning and execution.

Dear Alumni,
It was pleasure to see you all in such a big number coming from different parts of India and World. The day was filled with chirping voices from you all recalling the memories of your good old memorable days.
It was an agglomeration of alumni from diverse background and was blessing for the students, faculty, and staff looking at your current position and working status. More importantly, the love and affection you showed to our call from the alumni office was remarkable and you all made the day full of love, affection, and gratitude filled different colors.
Alumni meet 2020, started with formal registration of the Alumni at 08.00 a.m. The registration team was headed by Dr. Pramod Rawat, HOD of MBA Department along with his team Mr. Rohit Kumar Sahu and Mrs. Priyanka Srivastava with student volunteers. An over whelming response from the alumni was seen. More than 60 Alumni formally registered at the Alumni registration desk reporting from diffident parts of India.
After completing formal registration all Alumni were divided with respect to their graduating courses in different groups’ viz. Electrical Engg, Mechanical Engg, Civil Engg, Computer Science and Engg and Electronics and Telecommunication Engg, Pharmacy and MBA. The Alumni were escorted to their respective departments by department faculties for laboratory visit and students interaction. Alumni from each department had a fair and informative discussion with students and motivated them with their expertise.
Students were enthusiastic to see and know many more things about these eminent alumni and questioned them about their secrets of bright future. Many alumni opined that the key reason for their success is the platform the institute provided them and the amount of support provided by the management during their study period. Furthermore, Alumni after sharing their experiences assured all kinds of help, support, and cooperation for the betterment of the students and institute as whole. The perfect dialogue between alumni and students boosted their confidence.
Alumni Meet 2020 inaugural ceremony was scheduled at 11.00 a.m. after an exhaustive interaction of the Alumni with students and faculties from 09.30 a.m to 11.00 a.m. The inauguration ceremony was carried as per the institute tradition and Alumni on the dias with the spirit of enhancing knowledge.
Honorable Chairman Shri. B.P. Yadav Ji and Deputy Commissioner of DIC, Jaunpur Mr. Sahab Saran Rawat Ji were the Chief Guests.
Respected Principal Pharmacy Prof. Dr. Mohd. Wasiullah, Director Dr. V.S.Rathore, Principal PPJ,Mrs. Madhavi Singh and Vice- Principal PPJ, Mrs. Nidhi Singh over the function. Other dignitaries on the dias were heads of the department Mr. Piyush Yadav, Mr. Prateek Pathak, Mr. Santosh Kumar, Mr. Kamlesh Kumar, Mr. Dharma Yadav, Mr. Amit Kumar Yadav were also present.
All the dignitaries on the dias were felicitated with floral welcome. (Alumni President Mr. Jayant Kumar Maurya) , in his welcome address extended his warm welcome to the Alumni and Guests on the dais and extended his sincere thanks to all Alumni who had come for the meet against the call given from the Alumni office. He expressed his deep gratitude for all for being a part of Alumni meet in person and carrying the spirit of being.
Secretary- Mrs. Sweta Singh and Treasurar-Mr. Alok Kumar in their Guest address expressed their happiness of being back on the platform which has given them the bright future. They expressed that they were speechless on this occasion looking into hospitality provided by the college authorities and interaction with their friends in person. Both of them opined about their interest to assist the students at their capacity.
Mr. Chandra Ketu Singh, in his presidential address updated the Alumni about the college performance and proactive measures taken in the recent past in interest of the students and welfare of the faculty. He elaborated the Alumni with various activities, about technical, sports, social, and extent of the students support progressive activities extended to them in the recent past. Furthermore, he opined about the need for interaction and involvement of the Alumni in departmental strategic plans and overall development of the college. Considering the need of the hour and requirements of the students he enlightened and encouraged the Alumni to extend their support and assistance to students and institute.
He congratulated all the Alumni for the interest shown while interacting with students and understanding their feelings. In his presidential address updated the Alumni about the college performance and proactive measures taken in the recent past in interest of the students and welfare of the faculty. He elaborated the Alumni with various activities, about technical, sports, social, and extent of the students support progressive activities extended to them in the recent past. Furthermore, he opined about the need for interaction and involvement of the Alumni in departmental strategic plans and overall development of the college. Considering the need of the hour and requirements of the students he enlightened and encouraged the Alumni to extend their support and assistance to students and institute. Mr. C.K Singh congratulated all the Alumni for the interest shown while interacting with students and understanding their feelings.
The formal inauguration concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Mr. Prateek Singh, ATPO by extending his heartfelt thanks to all the Alumni and dignitaries on the dais. Furthermore, he extends his thanks to all the heads of the department, faculty, and students who were part of the alumni meet directly or indirectly.
The event was stimulating, enjoyable and simultaneously advantageous as all members shared their views, new ideas, information and insights came up. The association is hopeful to run and successfully structure and position itself into a fully functional global platform for PGI Alumni.
The alumni Association sincerely expressed its gratitude to the honorable Registrar, Mrs. Madhavi Singh for her guidance and support to make this event a grand success.
