To enhance and broaden the research initiatives at the institute, the PIT R&D Cell has been established and has been operational for several years. The key criteria indicating prospective expansion in research activities include an increase in research publications in peer-reviewed journals, research projects and funding, patents, collaborations, doctoral programs, and faculty development. The Cell is a designated committee comprised of Professors from Engineering, Management, Pharmacy and Applied Sciences Departments.
The PIT R&D Cell oversees and coordinates the research programs of the College. The research review meeting is held to assess the quality of research conducted by different teams. The Research & Development Cell of each department diligently endeavours to familiarise students with contemporary technological advancements via innovative projects and paper presentations.
