PPL College is involved in various initiatives throughout the year to help raise awareness, money and goods for both local and global causes. Locally, Greystone Vancouver raises money and accepts donations of clothing, blood and food for X, a local organization that provides shelter and services to street involved youth.

  • Blood Donation Drive, September 25/09/2016
  • A one day blood donation drive was organized by the CSR department in collaboration with district hospital, Sadar Jaunpur, at the campus where 49 donors donated their valuable blood to gift a life to patients undergoing transfusion for various illnesses.
  • Lending their hand to support the drive, many faculty and staff members also donated their blood.

College of Pharmacy, Jaunpur celebrated world pharmacists’ day on 25th September 2016 with the theme “PHARMACISTS: CARING FOR YOU”. The programme was inaugurated by the Chief guest Dr. S. Das, Blood Bank Incharge and Guests of honor Mr. Udayabhan Singh, Drug Inspector.

Pharmacist Day is celebrated in order to make the public and healthcare professionals aware that pharmacists are important members of the health care team and there is a need to make the best use of their services in order to improve patients’ quality of life.

Dr. Anuj Mittal, Principal welcomed the gathering and explained the theme of the day “Pharmacists: Caring for you”. Chief guest Dr. S. Das congratulated all the students for choosing pharmacy profession. In his speech, he told that we can save one life by donating blood.

Guest of honor Mr. Udayabhan Singh explained the scope of different disciplines of pharmacy and the role of pharmacist in community. He motivated the students by making aware of increased opportunities in the field of pharmacy.

In this occasion, the Chairman Er. B.P.Yadav, Registrar Miss. Rajani Devi, Principal of Prasad Polytechnic Miss. Madhavi Singh, Principal of Prasad International school Thambiraj.D. were also present.

Later the Chief guest Dr. S. Das and guest of honour Mr. Udayabhan Singh was felicitated with a memento by the Principal Dr. Anuj Mittal.

All the topper students were honored by our Registrar and Principal with certificate along with cash prize of Rs 1000/-

Rangoli 

It was a day of colors in the campus! Our students enthusiastically participated in the Rangoli competition - with different themes, concepts and designs. Freshers – Deepanshu Vishwakarma, Alam Khan, Ajeet Kumar Yadav, Shubham Yadav( Diploma 1st yr ) won the first prize with the theme- SAVE TREE.

Poster making competition & wall painting

PPL College organized the Poster Making Competition on various theme in campus on 25th September 2016. The event started at 11.00 am. and went up to 1.00 p.m.

There were about 25 registered participants. Competition judgments were done by Dr. S. Das and Mr. Udayabhan Singh. Yuvraj Yadav, Amar Vishwakarma, Mohd Faheem, Mohd Afzal (B.Pharm 1st yr ) won the first prize with the theme TARGETED CANCER THERAPY, second prize was won by the students of B.Pharm 2nd yr with the theme LIFE CYCLE OF MALARIA PARASITE.

A wall painting competition entitled ‘Rang’ was also held at College in which around 20 students took part to make the walls of the college a lively one.

The program was conducted by coordinator Piyush Yadav and Shweta Srivastava, Assistant Professor. The competitors portrayed pictures on various themes including ethnic culture of india, the rural life, environment, global warming, Mahatma Gandhi etc., which drew the attention of art lovers.

Lending their hand to support the drive, many faculty and staff members also donated their blood.

Teachers Appreciation Day!

“I'm really proud to be the principal with employees who work as hard and are as dedicated to the core mission of the group as you obviously are,” Principal Dr. Anuj Mittal told the crowd.

The faculty member Mr. Piyush Yadav, Mr. Swaroop Jyoti Chatterjee, Miss. Preeti Gupta, Miss Shweta Srivastava, Miss Smita Verma, Mr. Vimal kumar Yadav, Mr. Rajesh Kumar Yadav, Mr. Rajeev Kumar Verma, Mr. Jayant Kumar Maurya were awarded.
